Christmas is a season full of love, fun, and excitement. In New York this time of the year is always magical with its attractions. This city has a dose of the yuletide, and its seasonal magic makes it unique and the reason why it's been featured in holiday movies and TV shows. There are lots of things to keep the excitement and fun going this Christmas with activities such as ice skating, window shopping, tree lighting ceremonies and many more. Whether you are alone, or with family, there are ways to get the excitement going.

 

Ice skating at Bryant Park:

The park is uniquely surrounded by New York’s skyscrapers with the American Radiator building and the city’s Public Library. This park has a beautiful ice-skating rink and a huge Christmas tree and food kiosk. The ice-skating experience is just in incredibly amazing – spiced up with live bands.

 

Visiting the Christmas market:

During Christmas, New York is popular for its Christmas markets. Many markets such as the Columbus Circle holiday market close to the central park offer you a vast choice of places to do your shopping. Christmas shopping is plenty of fun and mostly discounted.

 

Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and displays:

The display of the Christmas trees and holiday lights at the Rockefeller center is very attractive. It is a must-see site during Christmas through the crowd may be discouraging, but the experience is worth it. It also offers ice skating for a fee.

 

The Ride holiday experience:

The holiday ride is unique and entertaining. This can only be experienced in New York City. The ride is available any time of the year, but it's most exciting during the Christmas season. It takes you around the city. You will explore sites and have the chance to admire the bright lights, street performers and festive surroundings.

 

 

There are many more activities to keep the fun going this Christmas in New York. Some are, experiencing the snow and taking great pictures at the top of the rock, visiting the New York Botanical Gardens Train Show, hearing holiday Gospel and the symphony at the New York Philharmonic, and seeing Santa at the Macy’s Santa Land.
